Actually Alacati itself stays in several kilometres from sea. Alacati is a small village but it is crazy sweet and cute with narrow streets and small houses. You will find hundreds of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. I like to seat in a street with cup of coffee watching people around, cats and smelling fresh air.
There are many small hotels and pensions in Alacati so you can easily find a place to stay according your wishes and finances.
Even you stay in the village it is not a problem to reach the sea. There are buses and taxi.
You can also stay near seaside in hotel (there are several big hotels) or pension.
On seaside you can find several windsurfing clubs and schools. You can rent everything and no need to take equipment with you. And even if you have never tried windsurfing or kitesurfing it is big opportunity to start :) When i came there first time i immediately felt such an energy, so much positive emotions and immediately i wanted run and take the course.
Actually sea is not hot there if you compare it with Mediterranian. If you plan just beach holiday it is better to come in June or July. But for windsurfing season is starting in April till November. But in November may be too much windy and they do not let to enter the sea.
I recommend you to come here even just for walking, coffee, wine and emotions.
P.S. Video and pictures were made at the end of October so it seems little dark. In summer time it is absolutely different.
